Progress Update
September 17th, 2017 by Matt Fisher
Last summer, we put the construction of our Holbrook facility out to tender, and received a number of submissions. These quotes were higher than our advice and expectations, which can be at least partially explained by the fact that we’re still in Australia’s biggest building boom since the 1950’s.
Hence we have been carefully reviewing our options, and are considering scaling back the requirements, obtaining more funds, or both. We can’t be sure how long the changes will take, though, so we don’t currently have an expected opening date.
We are still determinedly working on the project, but as we are planning for the very long term we must make sensible and prudent decisions to ensure the permanent sustainability of the organisation.
Stay tuned!

Hey guys,
Glad to know that’s cryonics is finally coming to Australia! I was just wondering if you have an option available to invest in Southern Cryonics? Is that one of the ways you are looking to get additional funding? Maybe even a large enough contribution to be part of the board? Maybe not, just curious. Thanks so much.
Kind regards,
Dylan
