Queries answered on FAQ page

October 3rd, 2020 by pstsola

As we get closer to the time we hope to be operational we are receiving many queries. To facilitate answering them we have posted some of the more general answers to these queries on our FAQ page. There are also a couple of short videos there you may enjoy. Queries include “How much will it cost?”, “How do I join a cryonics organization?”, “How will I live in the future?” and quite a few others.

Hi
I have been on your email list for a number of years. I am thrilled to see progress on the site.
I have some questions: Where is the actual storage facility location?
For pre opening investors (70k) whose storage is outlined in the constitution, what is to stop editing of the constitution at a later date?
I have followed Cryonics all my life, how can I volunteer?

Hi Ian, Thanks for your comment. The facility is in Holbrook NSW. Altering the Constitution is not easy. It takes at least 75% of the Board and at least 75% of the Members. It would take a monumental effort to alter and probably would not happen unless there was a major crisis. Please contact me at peter@southerncryonics.com if you wish to discuss volunteering.

I am disabled and interested in being cryopreserved as a means of potentially living a better life in the future.

I am not eligible for life insurance. What should I do?

Hi Toby, Sorry I am so late to get back to you, but we did have some phone conversations. If you have any assets or will receive assets such as a house through inheritance, then this possibly may be used for the payment. Failing that is it possible to have some support groups who will be willing to finance your suspension in the future. Without knowing your very specific situation I can only give these as very general replies. Regards, Peter
